Behind the Strips is a Hetalia fanfiction focusing on Himaruya Hidekaz. Set in 2006, Japan discovers a citizen of his is creating a webcomic focusing on anthropomorphic nations, not knowing that these personifications are actually quite real. Intent on stopping the mangaka, Japan travels to New York City and becomes backup to America as the two attempt to prevent the leak of the world’s oldest secret.
